Itinerary
DAY 1: WELCOME IN ISLAMABAD
Meet and greet at Islamabad International Airport. Drive to the hotel and rest for a while. Visit Shah Faisal Mosque Visit to Centaurs Mall for Shopping. Dinner at Famous Kabul Restaurant or TKR Overnight in Islamabad.
DAY 2: EXPLORING ISLAMABAD
Start at Shakerparian Park for city views, then visit the Pakistan Monument and Folk Heritage Museum. Explore government buildings on Constitutional Avenue, and end at the Faisal Mosque. Freshen up at Islamabad Jamat Khana before dinner at Saidpur Village.
DAY 3: ISLAMABAD-NARAN
Start your journey on Kashmir Highway, then take the Hazara Motorway to Mansehra, continuing on Naran Kaghan Road. Pass Balakot and enjoy stunning views of Kaghan and Naran Valley before reaching Naran. Check-in at Retreat Hotel for dinner and overnight stay. If Babausar Pass is closed, we'll take the Karakoram Highway to Chilas.
DAY 4: NARAN-GILGIT
Depart from Naran and drive towards Gilgit, reaching Gittidas after 3 hours. Continue uphill to the 4100m Babusar Pass (or via KKH if closed) for stunning views. Descend towards Chilas, then see the meeting point of the Karakoram, Himalayas, and Hindu Kush, along with the confluence of the Indus and Gilgit rivers. Arrive in Gilgit, with an optional Dua at Zulfiqarabad Jamatkhana. Dinner and overnight at Serena Gilgit Lodge.
DAY 5: EXPLORING GILGIT
After breakfast, visit the 7th-century Kargah Buddha rock carvings and the Gilgit Bazaar. Explore Chinar Bagh, the 182m suspension bridge, and the Aga Khan Higher Secondary School. Next, visit Shah Karim Hostel. Return to the Gilgit Serena for freshening up, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Optional Dua at Jamatkhana before overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6: GILGIT - HUNZA VALLEY
After breakfast, drive on the Karakoram Highway to Hunza, stopping at Rakaposhi Viewpoint for tea and breathtaking views. Check-in at Hunza Serena Hotel. Visit the 800-year-old Baltit Fort and the neighboring Altit Fort, known for its beautiful gardens and handicrafts workshop. Drive to Duiker for stunning views of the valley and Rakaposhi. Enjoy a traditional Hunza dinner at a local restaurant, with an optional Hunza music night. Overnight at the Hunza Serena.
DAY 7: EXPLORING GOJAL (UPPER HUNZA)
After breakfast, drive to Gulmit, passing the scenic Attabad Lake, with a boating stop along the way. Explore Gulmit, known for its handicrafts and traditional carpet weaving. Continue to Passu for stunning views of the Passu Peaks and visit the Passu Glacier viewpoint. Walk the "Indiana Jones Bridge" at Hussaini before returning to Karimabad for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 8: EXPLORING NAGAR - GILGIT
After breakfast, drive to Hopper in Nagar Valley, enjoying stunning views of Nagar and the Hunza Ultar mountain range. Visit the Ganish Heritage Village, preserved by AKCSP, before returning to Gilgit. Optional Dua at Jutial Jamatkhana, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at Gilgit Serena Lodge.
DAY 9: GILGIT- SKARDU
After breakfast, drive to Skardu via the scenic Indus Highway, with a stop at Lake Kachura ("Shangri-La Lake"). Explore Skardu's old bazaar and visit the K-2 museum (if open). For a hike, visit Kharpocho Fort for panoramic views. Continue to Shigar for dinner and overnight at the restored Serena Shigar Fort.
DAY 10: EXPLORING SHIGAR VALLEY
After breakfast, hike to Kari Dong to see ancient ruins and enjoy stunning views of Shigar Valley and the Haramosh Range. Return for a walking tour of the 14th-century Amburiq Mosque, the local bazaar, and the restored Khanqah. Drive to Skardu and check in to PC Legay Dinner and overnight at PC Legacy Skardu.
DAY 11: SKARDU TO ISLAMABAD
Weather permitting, fly to Islamabad (or drive if flight is canceled). On arrival, transfer to Serena Hotel. After freshening up, visit Centaurus Mall, then head to Daman-e-Koh for scenic views and dinner at Hilltop Restaurant. Overnight at Serena Islamabad.
DAY 12: ISLAMABAD-MURREE-ISLAMABAD
Drive to Murree (2 hrs), the former British summer hill station known for its pine-covered slopes and colonial-era schools. Stroll along Mall Road, visit Trinity Church, and shop for shawls and cane furniture. Continue to Patriata for chairlift rides and forest views. Return to Islamabad for dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel.
DAY 13: ISLAMABAD - LAHORE
After breakfast, depart Islamabad for Rohtas Fort via the historic Grand Trunk Road, built by Sher Shah Suri in the 16th century. Explore the impressive fort before continuing to Lahore. Check in at Pearl Continental Hotel, freshen up, and enjoy dinner on M.M. Alam Street.
DAY 14: EXPLORING OLD LAHORE
Explore historic Lahore with visits to the Lahore Museum, Badshahi Mosque, and UNESCO-listed Lahore Fort. See the beautifully restored Wazir Khan Mosque and Shahi Hamam. After freshening up, shop at Anarkali Bazaar and enjoy dinner with optional Ghazal music at Fort Food Street, overlooking the Fort. Optional Dua at Lahore Jamat Khana. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 15: EXPLORING LAHORE-WAGAH BORDER
In the morning, visit Jahangir's and Nur Jahan's tombs in Dilkusha Garden, followed by the UNESCO-listed Shalimar Garden. Later, head to the Wagah Border to witness the lively Flag Lowering Ceremony. Enjoy a traditional dinner before returning to the hotel overnight.
DAY 16: LAHORE TO KARACHI
Fly to Karachi and check in at the Movenpick Hotel. After a short rest, visit Quaid-e-Azam's mausoleum, Aga Khan University Hospital, and the Aga Khan Gymkhana. End with prayers at Garden Jamatkhana, followed by dinner by the sea at Kolachi.
DAY 17: EXPLORING KARACHI
After breakfast, visit the National Museum for a journey through Pakistan's history. Drive through Karachi's bustling bazaars, then stop at Frere Hall and Mohatta Palace Museum. Visit the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, enjoy a camel ride at Sea View, and explore Dolmen Mall. End with a farewell dinner at BBQ Tonight. Optional Dua at Clifton Jamatkhana. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 18: FLY BACK HOME
We'll head to the airport early in the morning to catch your flight and begin the next leg of your journey. End of Services.
