Itinerary
Day 1: Islamabad to Skardu
Fly from Islamabad to Skardu (approx. 1 hour) and transfer to your hotel. After some rest, visit the beautiful Upper Kachura Lake and Shangrila Lake (Lower Kachura). In the evening, explore Skardu Bazaar for local handicrafts and enjoy traditional Balti food for dinner.
Day 2: Excursion to Shigar Valley
Take a day trip to the stunning Shigar Valley. Visit Shigar Fort, explore the old wooden mosques, and walk through traditional Balti villages. Enjoy the lush Shigar gardens and relax by the Shigar River before returning to Skardu in the evening.
Day 3: Visit to Khaplu Valley
Drive to Khaplu Valley, one of Baltistan's most picturesque spots. Explore the historic Khaplu Fort and its museum, visit the centuries-old Chaqchan Mosque, and stroll around the charming Khaplu village surrounded by high peaks and rivers. Return to Skardu for overnight stay.
Day 4: Adventure to Deosai Plains
Spend the day exploring the Deosai Plains, known as the "Land of Giants." Enjoy the vast alpine meadows, wildlife spotting (like marmots), and visit Sheosar Lake, one of the world's highest lakes. Return to Skardu by evening for rest.
Day 5: Skardu Fort & Departure
